Well I certainly am in some good talented company in the next film I'll be seen in.
I play Matthew in the mini-series "The Pillars of the Earth" based on the best selling novel by Ken Follett. Not only do I play opposite the great Donald Sutherland who plays Bartholomew, but a few of my young co-stars are about to jump into the big time and will both star in future blockbuster films. They are Hayley Atwell and Sam Calflin. In "Pillars..." Hayley plays Aliena and Sam plays her brother Richard who are the children of Bartholomew. They are on the run and in my charge with me trying to protect them even at the cost of my own life.

Hayley has just been chosen by Marvel and cast as the leading lady and love interest Peggy Carter in "The First Avenger: Captain America" so she may be in peril once again.
While her onscreen brother in "Pillars..." Sam next stars in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" with Johnny Depp. His role is said to be the films new male heart throb, sort of the new Orlando Bloom.
I'm proud I did my best to keep them out of harms way in "Pillars..."

On another note I could have easly slit the throat of actor Matthew Macfadyen in our scene together who plays Prior Philip in "Pillars..." He will next be seen in Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" starring Russell Crowe. Macfadyen plays the Sheriff of Nottingham so I would have been doing Russell/Robin a favor in doing away with him. Well maybe not.

So there you have it. I can be seen running around with beautiful young woman, brave young men and bad guys with swords. I always love it when I get to have a weapon and do a bit of action stuff.
